Braces treatment length?

last month I did a lot of shopping around for braces you might have read the question I posted about the price and everything..

well anyway I’ve narrowed it down to two different places. The first one is a really cool looking office(Hey Im a big kid = ],) and they offer a lot of “extras” like teeth bleaching post-treatment and a guarantee that if your teeth shift later they will replace the braces for free once. They ortho also told me their better because he specializes in TMJ work so he has more knowledge of the ortho field. They also use the essix retainer, BUT the part that makes me say no is they said i will be braced for 28 months and my case is really not all that serious just a small gap and a crossbite.

The other place I’ve got my eye on is nice as well, mini braces, regular, and ceramic are all the same price so i have more choices. They dont offer all the extra perks like the other place but they gave me an estimate for 14-16 months.

Im 16 so time is important to me and the first place i mentioned is $5125 so its only like 100 bucks more than the second place mentioned. The only thing that attracts me to the second place is the mini braces and the time length. Otherwise the first place kind of offers you an insurance and garantee that your teeth will stay straight forever,

Ok all the babblin is done but my question is : Does the drastic time length difference make a difference on the outcome? AND which one do you think I should go to?

the first place told me check ups ar ever 7-8 weeks but the second place said check ups are every 4-6 weeks. Dont you think that thats weird that the check-ups are almost the same time length, the same case, almost same price, but about 10 months difference in time. Everyone wants to get their braces off as soon as possible, so can anyone PLEASE help? Any other advice you have would greatly be appreciated! THANKS!
but my gap is the only thing, i mean my parents are willing to pay but sheesh 5 grand for a space between my teeth lol. Anyway thanks for the great answers and more are appreciated! I wanna make my appointment before Friday!
ALSO both places told me i had to get a permanent retainer on the top teeth anyway
