Michael Your Q My A Tmj Pain Relief

TMJ Pain Relief ?!?!?

I have been suffering from TMJ (Temporomandibular joint disorder) for about 1 year now and over the last couple of days, in the morning i have been in agony with my jaw whenever i move it, it really hurts Throughout the day it gets a bit better. I have another appointment with the jaw unit in the hospital in October but what can i do for pain relief in the meantime. I wear a jaw splint and do jaw exserises but nothing is better.
I am 15 and i can’t swallow tablets so is there any liquid pain relief i can take for my jaw?

Maybe try crushing a couple Advil in a little bit of water..

My mom had TMJ for years and she ended up getting braces and it’s much much better now. Maybe even totally fixed, not sure.
