teeth grinding, mouth guards?
I left my plastic mouth guard in a denture cleaning solution longer than I should of, and now when I put it in my mouth, I get a slight taste of the denture cleanning solution.
I have ran through water, and still get the same taste which leaves me unable to wear it.
I heard that there is a bleach./water solution that one can clean it with. Is there just a thing, or is there another way I can get the denture taste out from my mouth piece.

Running it through water won’t get the taste out, you need to wash it again with something different. I always used dish soap and warm water for mine, just do it like you would do the dishes (but don’t put it in the sink with dishes…that’s just gross for the people who eat off of them). Depending on your particular retainer, it should be safe to use dish soap and it will not taste like anything if you make sure to get all the soap out afterward (think about it, do your clean forks and spoons taste like dish soap?? I sure hope not). Also make sure you clean any dents, lines, or scratches in the mouth guard. Bacteria can easily grow in these, and soap/denture cleaning solution can get stuck in there too.
