Your Q My A – Jaw Pain After Dental Work Cause

Susan asks…
Percocet-can it cause headache?
I was given a Rx for Percocet after some dental work 2 weeks ago. I received the generic brand Endocet. I haven’t taken too much of it or anything. The Rx was for 20 pills and I still have about 8. I was hurting in my neck and jaw today so i took one and now I have a headache. Shouldn’t a pain killer as strong as this wipe out a headache or is the medicine causing it? I didn’t have a headache before, just jaw/gums/neck/shoulder. Anyone have experience with this med?

Bruxism Treatment Guy answers:
Percocet also gives me a headache. I need an ice bag on my head when I take it. Hydrocodone does not give me as bad of a headache.
