Your Q My A – Grinding Teeth In Sleep How To Stop It

Sharon asks…
How can I stop grinding my teeth in my sleep?
I’m 13 years old and I’ve realised that I grind my teeth in my sleep, because I normally wake up with them like that and my teeth hurting. It makes both sides of my head hurt as well and it‘s really irritating me. is there any way to make it stop ?

Bruxism Treatment Guy answers:
It might be because of ur teeth ( U need braces) Or bcuz of stress… If its stres then try to relax b4 u sleep.
I suggest u consulting ur dentist for this, Its more secure and safe.
But I personally dont suggest getting a mouth gaurd YET, Since ur teeth arent in their right position, U might need braces, and u might still have some baby teeth. So getting amouth guard atm would be a waste of money. Ur dentist would probably tell u the same thing So u either get a mouth guard (If still needed) after braces or in a couple of yrs when ur teeth stop moving. And u have no more baby teeth.
But again, make sure u have a visit to ur dentist and tell them about ur problem.
Hope i helped
Take care
