Other treatments for TMJ?

I’ve had TMJ for over a year now, I have recently started receiving treatment for it. My dentist took molds and gave me a night guard. I have had very many adjustments so much so that she has had to take molds for a new night guard, She said that I am supposed to be showing improvements like more flexibility with my jaw & my jaw has been the same if not tighter. I am in excruciating pain and I can barely open my mouth an inch. Please help with any other treatment ideas especially mouth exercises! Or tell me a Forum i can go to, to get some help~ thanksss:]!!!!!!
